Terms and Conditions (Ireland)
Venue Referral Programme
Norse Starlit Limited (Company No: 669369) of 50a Rosemount Park Drive, Rosemount Business Park, Ballycoolin, Dublin 11 (Bamboo)
Please note this programme will be operational until midnight on July 31st 2021.
Any referrals made after this date will not be eligible for a referral gift under this programme.
1. This programme applies only to persons registered as customers with Bamboo (“referrer”) and where the referrer refers a new customer who is eligible to take up temporary or permanent work in the Republic of Ireland.
2. Under the programme the referred person can be your friend, relative or acquaintance.
3. The referral gift detailed in this programme is a gross payment. Should the referrer be payrolled by Bamboo, Bamboo is responsible for the deduction of any taxes or other deductions, as required by law, arising from the provision of the referral gift. In all other cases, the responsibility for any payment of tax lies with the referrer.
4. The referrer is eligible for a €150 referral gift of an One4all gift card if the referred person becomes a Bamboo customer.
5. The gift card is not redeemable for cash.
6. In the event that Bamboo is (for whatever reason) unable to procure the indicated referral gift, then you will receive a substitute referral gift of commensurate value subject to these same terms and conditions.
7. For the avoidance of doubt, no referral gift is payable if a referred person works in a temporary assignment through Bamboo outside the Republic of Ireland, or is placed at a Bamboo client in permanent employment outside the Republic of Ireland.
8. The referrer will not be eligible to receive the referral gift under this programme in the event that the referred person is already on the Bamboo database at the date of referral or if Bamboo have already received their details but have not yet entered them onto their database.
9. The referred person must be notified and have consented to their details being passed to Bamboo under this programme before the date of the referral. This is the responsibility of the referrer and is subject to the Data Protection Act 1988 and 2003. The referrer will indemnify Bamboo for any loss or claim arising out of the referrer’s failure to procure such consent.
10. We will contact the referrer in order to claim their referral gift if their referral becomes a transacting customer with a minimum 50 transactions.
11. Referrals will be accepted up until midnight on July 31st, 2021. Any referrals made after this date will not be eligible for a referral gift under this programme.
12. Customers can only be referred to Bamboo once. In the event that a customer is referred to Bamboo by more than one referrer, only the first person to refer that customer to Bamboo (with the referred person's permission) will be eligible for a referral gift under this programme. This will be verified by the timestamp of the referral.
13. Permanent employees and contract and temporary workers working directly for Bamboo or any member of the Bamboo group of companies are not eligible to participate in this referral programme.
14. The referrer agrees that Bamboo will not be held liable for any loss or claim arising out of the exercise of the One4all gift card and the referrer exercises such gift cards wholly at their own risk.
15. Bamboo reserves the right to vary or terminate all or part of the terms of the Referral programme at any time without notice.
16. In the event of any dispute regarding these Terms and Conditions, the rules of this programme, conduct, results and all other matters relating to the programme, the decision of Bamboo shall be final and no correspondence or discussion shall be entered into.
17. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Ireland and parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish Courts.
18. The referral must take place via the referrers online form link sent to them by Bamboo via email.
