Here are some ways your team can practice a seamless and safe contactless ordering experience that will reduce contact between customers and staff while offering great customer experience.
Clearly label your Bamboo orders
Make sure you label each order with the customer’s name. This way they’ll be able to locate their order straight away without speaking with staff or touch other customers orders.
Create a designated pick-up area
A designated pick-up area is not only what facilitates a contactless pick-up experience, but also limits the time a customer is in-store. If possible, we recommend keeping it away from your normal queue so people can maintain social distance for Bamboo and queuing orders. Once you’ve completed an order, leave it clearly labelled on at the designated Bamboo pick-up area.
Provide pick-up instructions
To make sure customers know where to go in-store before they enter, make sure you’ve provided the Bamboo team with accurate pick-up instructions. In the customer’s order notifications, we can let them know where to expect their order to wait when they arrive.
Provide all self-serve options and utensils
Move self serve items to behind the counter and sure your team provide any modifications such as coffee lids or toppings. This will remove the need for customers having to pick from a self-serve area of lids, utensils or toppings where contamination may occur.
